A lot of people assume the CC in our name stands for Casa Costa – and they’re not wrong.
But it also means Contractor Concierge, which is a concept whereby a single point-person manages every aspect of a home improvement project on behalf of a client, from beginning to end, freeing up the homeowner’s time and sparing them from the daily stress and anxiety that the process can sometimes bring on.
We don’t actually show up to work in a tuxedo (that would be ridiculous), but our little logo guy exemplifies the level of service we strive to provide, in everything we do, but especially the little things: showing up on time, clear and honest communication, cleaning up after ourselves, and never accepting less than the best for our clients.
Steven Mills (Principal) was a finish carpenter and remodeling contractor for over 20 years, designing and crafting custom interiors -- like the cherry fireplace mantel with raised paneling shown here -- for some of the finest homes in New Jersey.
During that time, he interacted with and worked alongside architects, interior design professionals, engineers, project managers, building inspectors, and every variety of building and mechanical tradesperson.
Prior to that, he worked on the supply side of the business, in lumber yards and big box home improvement stores, where he learned the ins and outs of specifying and sourcing building materials, custom fixtures and hardware, whether taking it off a blueprint or simply a page ripped out of a design magazine by an excited customer.
He now applies his decades of experience and specialized knowledge to consulting and managing projects for others.
